From Wednesday, March 18, at 11 a.m. until Friday, March 20, at 4 a.m., the Verdi union has called on employees of the Munich Transport Company (MVG) to go on strike. The strike will affect subway, tram, and bus services. The S-Bahn is not affected by the strike.
No trains to/from the airport due to construction work
Between Thursday, March 19, 9:30 p.m., and Monday, March 23, 5:00 a.m., there will be no train service to and from Munich Airport. This affects both the S-Bahn and the interregional Airport Express (ÜFEX). The disruption is due to construction work by Deutsche Bahn.
A rail replacement service (SEV) with substitute buses will be set up.

S8: SEV between Ismaning and the airport.
Please check your train connection before your arrival or departure and allow extra time for your trip to and from the airport.
