Press: Two prizes for Munich Airport at the Skytrax Awards

Munich Airport received two awards at the prestigious World Airport Awards. Munich Airport was honored with the “Best Airport Staff in Europe” and “Best Airport in Central Europe” awards at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Frankfurt on Wednesday evening. In a global comparison, Bavaria’s international air traffic hub is ranked No 8 in the passenger rating, making it the only German airport among the Top 10 in the world rankings . 

In passengers’ eyes, Munich Airport is still one of the best airports in the world even after two years of pandemic: At the annual “World Airport Awards” conferred by London-based aviation consultancy Skytrax, the Bavarian air transportation hub was awarded the title of “Best Airport in Central Europe” based on a global passenger survey.
